Amboli hill station is located in Sindhudurgh region of Maharashtra most commonly enjoyed by visitors during monsoon period when the temperature falls below 10 C and has a beautiful natural waterfalls and scenic valleys with winds making a whistling sound. The place is visited by a million people during public but the population of the Ambolighat is less than 10,000.
Since tourism is the only occupation for majority of residents it is difficult to find labour both skilled and unskilled for conventional RCC construction and also all the raw materials has to be bought from other cities located 100 kms away. Also, the region is windy and requires a strong and maintenance free structure, since it receives a heavy rainfall half the year.
The region also experiences frequent power cuts and having doing construction the conventional way turns out to be more expensive and a tedious affair when personal monitoring is concerned, Also, the building requires frequent maintenance with respect to painting and waterproofing since most of the time it rains heavily in all directions.

Also, the project was completed within 20 working days including the civil works during monsoon.
