Trane launches web gateway and mobile app for control of interactive AC

Targeted to provide ease of control of Interactive AC from anywhere though Internet

HVAC specialist Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand, announced the launch of its Interactive SmartAC web-gateway and mobile app.

Interactive SmartAC is a next generation smart gateway featured with multi functions. It gives ease of control to every registered individual Trane Interactive AC enabling the control from anywhere through Interactive SmartAC app installed on a smart phone. This application enables user to manage all functions, modes of operation and view various types of reports. Interactive SmartAC feature can also be retrofitted in all existing Trane Interactive AC line-up.

Interactive SmartAC supports multiple connectivity. A Single gateway will be able to connect 18 Trane Interactive AC through internet features like plug and play style permits user to connect to network just by powering ‘on’ the gateway with no efforts for configurations. The app will be available on Android and iOS platform..

The Interactive SmartAC Web gateway comes with loads of exciting features and advance connectivity:Interactive remote with you all the time: Get all the features of the interactive remote on your Android and iOS mobile phone or tablet through the App.

Smart plug and play: As the name suggests, the device is smart to connect to available network just by power ON. This reduces the efforts of configuration and makes it easy for use.
Control up to 18 Trane ACs with Energy meter: Allows to name and control 18 ACs from the App and optimises their performance by Energy meter.

High security: Communications via all interfaces are encrypted with industrial standards to protect it from network threats and ensure the data security.

Track performance of AC: One can see and track the power consumption pattern of their AC on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and improve on efficient energy usage. One can also generate reports based on the parameters of the AC.

Future ready with the past in mind: The app and the gateway works completely well with the past and future range of Trane Interactive ACs. It can be retrofit with the earlier Interactive models.
